Use CloudNine Discovery Portal to overlay images to CloudNine Review
When dealing with eDiscovery and processing of the data, a common workflow practice is to process and load the natives, text, and metadata into CloudNine Review, then later load corresponding images to the database. This process is often used to speed up the review process and only obtain images for relevant documents as opposed to imaging all documents.
With CloudNine Discovery Portal, you can overlay images to existing records in the CloudNine Review database.
Overlay and Upload Images to Existing Records:
- Launch CloudNine Discovery Portal, you are on the Welcome to CloudNine Discovery Portal screen.
- Select File System (e.g File Share, Hard Drive, Forensic Images, etc) under Select Data From.
- When File System is selected, CloudNine Review is selected from the Review Data Using: column. Click Continue.
- You are prompted to log in. Enter your CloudNine Review Email address and Password and click Continue.
- The Verify Your Identity popup appears. Verify your identity using the multi-factor authentication method you established with CloudNine Review.
- The What kind of data are you uploading? popup appears. Select Production/Processed data then click OK.
- You will now Select the CloudNine Review Case you will overlay images to and enter an Upload name. After inputting an Upload name, and selecting the Case Name, click Next to advance to the Select Processed Data and Supporting Files screen.
- Beneath Select the Image .OPT or .LFP load file type, copy/paste, or Browse... to select the .OPT or .LFP load file you will use to overlay the images.
- Select Overlay Data onto Existing Records, then choose the Image Tag (a unique identifier that exists in the load file and in the CloudNine Review Database). There are two options: Beg Bates (BegDoc) or CloudNine DocID.
- Click Next to advance to the Confirm & Upload screen. Review the Uploading From section and the information is correct. Verify where you are Uploading To and that the Action is to Overlay. Add any optional Notes & Comments. When you are satisfied, select Start Upload.
The Upload initializes and you are taken to the Global Monitoring Console where you can monitor the upload progress.
