CloudNine Analyst: Understanding the Geolocation System Message
Understanding the Geolocation System Message
The system message for geolocation items is generated by CloudNine Analyst to give key information on that item.
- Address returned via lookup – The physical address returned based on the coordinates, IP address, or address provided
- Address lookup confidence level – This is the confidence level of the lookup's accuracy
- Level reported via lookup - This is the precision level of the address lookup
Geolocation of items is based upon the coordinates, address or IP address provided and may not be accurate to a precise level. CloudNine Analyst provides feedback mechanisms for the accuracy based upon 3rd party APIs. These APIs may be subject to change, update and/or variance depending upon the date the lookup was performed.
