On Premise Software Q&A
“System.OutOfMemoryException: Exception of type 'System.OutOfMemoryException' was thrown” error with running Near Dupe on a very large case.
This is common with cases with 2 million+ pages. The primary cause for this error is the Near Dupe engine installed with LAW is a 32-bit version.
The workaround is to install the 64-bit version of the ND engine as follows:
- Request the 64-bit version of the engine from LAW Support.
- The file is called LAWNDRunner.7z. Inside this ZIP file is NDRunner.exe
- Place this file here: C:\Program Files (x86)\LAW50\NearDup
- Re-launch LAW and then run the ND process again.
