      CloudNine Review: Can I save PII or Search Hit Redaction settings to make sure that the redactions are applied consistently?

      Create and Manage Templates for Bulk Redaction of PII and Search Term Hits

      When using the Bulk Redaction tool to redact PII data and search term hits, templates can be created and saved for future use. Templates are helpful in ensuring consistency in how bulk redaction is applied to various types of data. 

      Create a Bulk Redaction Template

      1. In your CloudNine Review Project, Select Tools - Redactions - Bulk Redaction to open the Bulk Redaction screen. 
      2. Select your Document Selection, Redaction Type, Full Text Search Redactions, and/or PII Entities to Redact, and any Values to Exclude.

      3. At the top of the Bulk Redaction screen, in the Template section, click the Create button.
      4. You are on the Create Bulk Redaction Template.  Enter a template Name. 
      5. Enter an optional Description of the redaction template.

      6. Click Create. 
      7. You are returned to the PII Redaction window, and the Template is created and selected from the drop-down list. The description appears under the selected Template.

        When a Template is selected, you will notice two additional buttons:
        1. Update: Disabled until Document Selection, Redaction Type, Entities to Redact, or Values to Exclude are changed. If changes are made, the Update button is available to save the changes to the existing PII Redaction Template.
        2. Create Copy: You can create a copy of the selected PII Redaction Template to make changes without changing the original template. If Create Copy is selected, the Create PII Redaction Template window opens. Change the Name and Description, then click Create to add a new template to the Template list. 

      Manage Bulk Redaction Templates

      Bulk Redactions Templates are managed in the Manage Bulk Redactions Templates window. 

      Select Tools-Redactions-PII Redactions.  In the Template section, click the Manage Template option.

      The Manage PII Redaction Templates window opens, displaying the templates table. In the template table, you can:

      1. Search: Search for a PII Redaction template by Name or Description.
      2. Name: Click on a template name to view Template Details.

      3. Description: Shows the optional description added to the PII Redaction Template.
      4. Action: Edit, Delete, or Undelete templates. 
        1. Edit: Make changes to the template Name and Description. 
        2. Delete: Removes the template from the drop-down selection. 
        3. Undelete: Restores a previously deleted template. 
      5. Deleted Templates: The template manager maintains a list of all templates. If a template is highlighted in red, it is deleted and no longer listed in the Selected Template drop-down.  
      6. Back: Returns you to the PII Redaction window.
