      C9 PII REDACTION FIELD

      The C9 PII Redaction is a multi-select system field that appears after the initial PII Redaction process is completed. The field contains a list of entity types. If an entity type is checked (yes) it indicates that PII data was detected and redacted in the document.

      Along with the PII entity type values, the field also contains error or warning values that may be applied to a record. These values are: 

      • none: The document has not been included in any PII Redaction process. 
      • No Text Detected: The record was selected for PII Redaction, but no text was found for the document. 
      • Text Size Limited Exceeded: The record is flagged if the document text is greater than 300KB, the document is excluded from the PII Redaction process. 
      • No PII Detected: The document was selected for PII Redaction however, no PII was found for the selected entity types.
      • PII Redaction Error: An error was encountered during the PII Redaction process. 
      • PII Entities Excluded: The record contained an entity item, but was excluded from the PII Redaction process. 

      Notes about the C9R Redaction field

      • If an entity type has been checked as yes and redaction applied, the redaction is not removed from the document and the field value is not reset if PII redaction is re-run.
      • When the PII Redaction process is rerun on documents previously errored, the error flag is reset.

      Audit Log Event Report

      The automated PII Redaction process is a logged event in CloudNine Review and is available in the Audit Log Event Report. Select Tools - Reports - Audit log event report.

      In the Search Filters section,  Locate and select PII Redaction Request to generate an Audit Log Report. Click View Log.

      The Audit Log Report lists all PII Redaction Request ran by the selected User(s) and the Start and End date range. If the PII Redaction was run on a Current Document, then the CloudNine Review ID is listed in the Document ID column and Description indications 1 document. When the PII redaction process is run from search results and the Descriptions shows the number of documents the PII Redaction process was ran on.
